One more. . . Pregnancy Tag

- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? I was pretty sure I was pregnant when I read the test at the clinic, but I took another when I got home, and I was sure it was positive.
- Who was with you? Jeffer
- How did you find out that you were pregnant? We had been trying to get pregnant for 18 months, so taking tests was pretty normal.
-What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? I was super shocked. It took a long while for me to wrap my head around it.
- What main symptoms sold it for you? My only early symptom was tender breasts, really. I’m ALWAYS tired.
- Who was the first person you told? Jeffer. I told Angie a week later at work. We were in the stair well, and Angie cried.
-Did you plan to get pregnant? YES. FINALLY!
-Was everybody happy for you? Definitely. At least, I hope so.
- Did you want to find out the sex? I cannot imagine not wanting to know. WEIRD! You can’t prepare for anything unless you find out the sex.
-What was the sex? Gorgeous baby girl.
-Did anyone throw you a baby shower? Yes
-If yes, who? My mama and sisters. Thanks, guys!
- How much weight did you gain? 20 lbs.
- Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? Yep! It took 6 months, but yes.
- Did you get a lot of stretch marks? No, thank heaven!
- What did you crave the most? Salads from Bajio. Wow, they are super tasty! I got them atleast once a week, usually more.
- Did you crave anything crazy? Nothing weird, just weird for me. I hate Tootsie Rolls, and I always wanted them.
-Did you ever resent your husband for "putting you in this situation"? No.
- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? No. She stopped growing at the end, and they started me early, but no complications.
-Where were you when you went into labor? In the hospital.
-Did your water break? No. Heather broke it in the hospital. You should have seen Jeffer’s face.
- What were you feeling when you knew your baby was almost here? It was so exciting! I was really tired because I waited a really long time to get my epidural and I was in a lot of pain, so I couldn’t sleep. After I finally got my epidural, I feel asleep and was complete in like three hours. Kate was out in three or four pushes. It was beautiful.
- Did you go early or late? 10 days early
- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth? The doctor, the nurse and Jeffer.
-Was it video taped? Never... I wouldn’t want anyone looking down there.
- Did you have any drugs for the pain? Why would anyone EVER go through labor without drugs? It was so nice.
-Did you have to have a c-section? No, and I am so grateful!
- What was your first reaction after giving birth? I cried with Jeff. It is AMAZING to look at that baby and know she’s yours. That her movements are the same ones that you felt in your womb. She was beautiful!

- How big was the baby? 6 lbs. 5 oz. PERFECT!
- Did your Husband cry? A little. He was amazed at her.
- What did you name the baby? Kate Isabella Wood
-Was it difficult coming up with his/her name? Yes. Jeff and I didn’t decide on any names until we were in the hospital. We had a list of five names, and Kate was the one we agreed on the most.
- How long were you in labor? 20 ½ hrs. EPIDURAL, people!
- Did the baby(s) have any complications? Nope! YAY!
- How old is your baby today? 7 months!
- When is the next one(s) coming? Not sure, but not too long down the road. Jeffer and I are excited to have a family.
-If you could, would you do it all over again? Without a doubt. I knew the second I looked at her that I wanted more children.
